How Can Mentoring Help You?

cup-sip.jpg

I work with proactive people who seek balance in their family and life. I are committed to helping you not just better your home and family, but better yourself in the process. I design a strategic alliance with you to overcome any set of obstacles, difficult life stages, and relationship breaks. This is no longer just about having an easy morning routine, but developing you and your children as nurtured people.

I have found that mentoring and coaching teens and parents has been extremely rewarding for my clients (and for me!) because it offers teens, tweens and kids one on one time with an older (but still young) person who can talk to them about any issues they may be having with school, self-esteem, friends and life goal

Benefits of Coaching

  • One on one guidance
  • Confidence Building and Leadership training
  • Interpersonal skills development
  • Better Parent-Teen Communication
  • Safe place to vent, brainstorm and reset old habits and new goals

How Does Mentoring Work?

-1 Hour per Week I have flexible breakdown depending on type of coaching, some clients I meet with just twice a year before finals and midterms, some clients I see two times per week.

-In-Person Mentoring at client’s house (if you are in the Los Angeles Area) $90 per hour.

-Virtual Mentoring anywhere in the world $80/hr.

-All coaching also includes ‘homework’ dependent on each client’s goals and situations, check-ins and assignments. I also have a thorough questionnaire and personality tests that I give free before the 8 weeks start so I can get to know my clients. This way clients can also examine what they want out of their summer!

**I am not therapist, and do not claim to be one! What makes what I do so different and helps teens really open up to me, is we talk about stories that go on in both of our lives and I talk to them as a fellow peer. Many of my teen clients refer to me as their peer mentor

Teen Peer Mentor

Every child is different and I often end up doing a combination of the above and take into the personal needs and situations of the families I am working with. Some variations I have had in the past have meant including:

  • Online reputation management
  • Social networking safety
  • Online entrepreneurship
  • Health and fitness goals
  • Working with divorced children to manage time and ‘packing’ back and forth
  • Peer groups for groups of girls to talk about cliquiness, bullying and supporting each other as friends. (only in person)

…I am flexible and open to what you need!

Goal Setting, Career Planning and Personal Development Track

I think it is really important for young people to realize their potential and ambitions early. With the advent of the internet, students can do amazing things to start their careers and life goals. Whether your kids have no idea what they want to do or know exactly what profession they want, I work with them to start working on these goals early. We do career maps, personality tests, and learn how to manage time and life issues.
