Fill a small container, like a shot glass or our 3oz disposable rinse cups, with your homemade sea salt solution. Bend over, and press the rim of the cup to your stomach so that it encompasses your belly button piercing. Hold the cup firmly against your skin as you sit upright.
One way to help your new piercing stay healthy is to soak it in a sea salt or saline mixture. Doing this can keep your wound clean and promote healing. Some piercing experts tell their customers to consider a sea salt soak to help your piercing heal.
